Super great guitar
I bought this yesterday, plugged it nt and was blown away
This guitar's tone is better than the Clapton sig I own.
The picture does not do this axe justice.. 1st because they tinted the neck .. it looks really sweet.. great touch.. but yah, looks are not the most important thing here .. the new vintage saddles deliver a richer tone .. yes, i'm not a big fan of a floating trem, but it's an improvement over the previous american strat saddles, BELIEVE ME.. listen for yourself..
anyway- maybe traditional strat fans will not initially give this new axe a chance, and some part of me didn't want this axe to be any better, but after playing it myself and hearing the richer tones delivered out of this new axe, i am recomending this new Strat to anyone who is lucky enough to get their hands on one ..
Good luck to all!

Timeless
THE strat, the American Standard has been the "center of gravity" of fender. Now they've gone and made more final finishes to the #1 guitar, further raising the standard. The new strats have a very nice feel to them, subtle yet noticeable and desirable. An absolute buy!

Awesome Guitar
I picked up this guitar after months of exhausting research. I went through every make on earth, and nothing touches the sound of the strat. The finish on this guitar is beautiful. The body is light weight and the frets are awesome. Actually the frets are another reason why I made the choice - it is very easy to make your barre chords on this neck. The frets are hand worn on the sides so it feels like it is already broken in. I compared it to other Strats and this one just felt like home. The Alnico V pickups give you that popping sound that strats are famous for, but they are a little noisy. The new bridge is fantastic. Sustain is incredible, and it stays in tune pretty well with the stock tuners. As with any Strat you buy if you don't like something on it you can change it.

Amazing Guitar!!
I was very hesitant of buying something at this price range, while on a lower budget, and question if it was worth the money... After playing it, I just began to love it more and more each day.. It has an amazing neck (I have the maple fretboard 3-tone sunburst)... It also the one of the brightest tones out of the guitars I have played.. You might consider changing the strings, but after that, this guitar is a beauty.

1 Word "AMAZING!!!!"
This guitar is amazing. Especially the way they upgraded it from the past strats. The neck feels like butter when you play it. Extremely smooth. And its just an all around comfortable and great sounding guitar.

Excellent
I've been playing for quite a number of years and have had different strats along the way. This one I feel the most comfortable with. The alder body is warm and rich, the maple neck is smooth and feels semi broken-in, even when new. The staggered pickup magnets make a big difference in my opinion. The stock pickups are good and deliver a wide range of warm and bluesy to bright and rocking. As with any guitars not all are exactly the same. I played 3 identical models and they all sounded different, I found the one that was most comfortable and pleasing to me, although they all sounded good. Everyone has their own personal idea of what their ideal tone is.
All in all it delivers some great strat sounds and holds up well when heavily played.

Glad that I waited for this one!
I have been eyeing over the latest Fender offerings for the past two years to find the Strat that captured as many of the qualities that I felt I needed/wanted in a quitar. I own a few other strats and 2 telecasters, but these are mostly collector items and not something that I feel that I can jam on with complete abandon. I had been kicking myself for passing up a custom strat that offered many of the features that this model offers -- Delta Tone electronics, smooth neck, and frets that don't feel like speedbumps for almost twice the price. Well, I am now glad that I waited because this strat fills all of my needs and then some. The sound of this guitar is amazing and I feel that it sounds better than the Deluxe version played side-by-side on the same amp. the tone is truely amazing and just more than I could have hoped for in a guitar that is not officially "vintage." The neck is as smooth as I remember the custom as being, and it plays like a dream. The case with all of its candy is the best that Fender has put out in a long while.
On an ending note, sometimes I get "buyers remorse" after making a guitar purchase (I own 17), but not with this one. I can't imagine letting this one out of my hands until the day I die. I think that this guitar will be thought of as a classic at some point. Fender did everything right.

Absolutely Incredible
Words can not explain how amazing this guitar is. I traded in my les paul custom for this thing and i have no regrets. This machine can make any noise or reach any tone you want it too. Its light weight, it feels right in your hands and is very smooth all over. The necks are extremely nice with the medium jumbo frets. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone who looking for one. I got the olympic white with maple neck just like hendrix, and its breathtaking. After playing for about 5 hours straight, i stared at it for another two or three. Aside from the great guitar, the case it comes with is extremely nice and secure, and the goodies that come with it are very nice too. GET THIS GUITAR, YOULL HAVE NO REGRETS!!!

Love it!
This baby is all the guitar I ever needed! It is extremely versatile; It can handle anything including screaming metal solos(with a little help from a noise suppressor). The quality of this guitar is superb. The price is not too steep and if you are serious about playing the guitar, you should definitely invest in the strat.

This rocks. No questions asked
This strat is simply incredible. the finishes are beautiful, and the tonal capabilities are remarkable. YES there is strat buzz, but it is the minor strat buzz that has shaped much of the rock and roll that we truly love. The guitar stays in tune really well, and the floating bridge works well also. Well done fender!!
