  • Excellent kit, trem bar is weak

    This is an excellent kit, brought my Strat right back to where it needed to be. A few issues: the 2 mounting screws that come with it are a little long, and at least on my guitar, poked through to the underside of the back panel. Also, given that I was mounting this on an existing 6 hole slot, I had to be extra careful when lining everything up. Once you have the bridge installed, everything is golden, except for the cheap material that the trem bar is made from. Invariably, I end up bending the threaded stem if I'm not careful. All in all, a nice little kit that doesn't cost a lot and is pretty easy to install, if you take your time.

  • Never Drop Tune

    I use to think that hard tail was the way to go. However nothing can take me away from this tremolo. I have never dropped tune with this! I usally tune once a week and it always stays in tune. It is amazing I never thought it would work.

  • Great Bridge. Make sure you know what you're getting into.

    The other guy is dead on. This thing stays in perfect tune. However, it comes with no instructions for installing it. You'll need a 3/8" drill bit for the holes and if you're upgrading from a standard 6-screw bridge like i did, working around those existing screw holes makes things tricky. I suggest thoroughly measuring where your peg holes need to go and realize that the slot for strings on the back may not ever line up with the bridge again in a mexican strat at least. If You're up for a challenge and aren't afraid to experiment I'd say give it a try. It took me about thirty minutes to install once i committed and anyone should be able to install this bridge w/ minimal trouble. Enjoy.
