The new Fender American Special basses bring you the latest in U.S.-built quality and value. The American Special Precision Bass guitar features a slim neck profile and a dealer-exclusive hand-stained Honeyburst finish.

Features include an alder body and C-shaped maple neck, maple fretboard with medium jumbo frets, Alnico V split P-Bass pickups, knurled chrome knobs, three-ply pickguard, vintage-style bridge and strap buttons, and deluxe gig bag.

  • American Special P Bass Honeyburst

    I don't usually buy an instrment site unseen, but the deal was good enough to risk it. I am glad I did. After a little set up this bass is great. Very acurate intonation. Very playable neck. I really like its unique finish. It turns out after playing dozens of P basses that this one is the best of the bunch.

  • Great sound, Great Look, Great Value!

    I walked into guitar Center last weekend with no intention of buying anything and this beautiful bass caught my eye immediately. It's gorgeous! After debating with myself for a few minutes, I went ahead and purchased it and had it set up for heavier gauge strings. This was a great decision. I got it home last night and it plays like a dream. It has a clcear sound and the neck plays like a dream. Whether you just play for yourself at home or whether you're a working mucision, this bass comes highly recommended. I've played bass for the last 22 years and this is the best bass I've ever played. It absulutely sings and is worth every penny I paid for it. Enjoy!

  • Fender American Precision (Honeyburst)

    I had been shopping and trying out numerous Precision's around the Washington D.C. area for the last 6 months or so with no real success in what I was looking for. I happened across this Precision and really was amazed at the feel and tone of it. It's a great instrument for sure. I have a few nice basses, but never a Fender for some reason. I was very surprised by this one and enjoy playing it. If you're a player, you'll love it!
