Really Great Package

I started taking lessons a month ago using an acoustic guitar. Decided to get a "beginners" electric guitar package and opted for this guitar, in blue, mainly for the G-Dec amp. The guitar quality is excellent and the amp has a wide range of effects which really is fun to use. The only minus is the strap is only so-so. Otherwise it's a great package. Practiced 2 hours straight today. Couldn't put it down.

It's a beautiful get started package

I absolutely love this electric guitar package! It's the best birthday present I've ever gotten. I got the metalic blue, and it's beautiful. When I play this guitar I feel like a star. No matter what I play, everything rings out like a pro was doing it. I could practice for hours and hours on this baby. Every spare moment I have I find myself picking it back up and playing a tune. I've played many different hand-me-down guitars, but this is the first one that feels right in my hands. I don't have any complaints about this Squier Affinity Strat HSS and it's made with the same pride which Fender puts into all of their guitars. I've checked it out all over and even though this is an inexpensive series for the beginner, it's still built like a tank-And the G-DEC amp that comes with it is amazing too. I'm having a blast with the different amp types. I haven't went through every possible configuration yet, but so far I haven't found any faults-Now the gig bag and strap is good enough to use for now, but later I'm going to get a personalized hard case and strap. Every player wants to use their own touch, You know?-In summary, if you want a good practice Fender Strat package, this is the one to get, no question about it!

great guitar

This is a great guitar. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to start playing guitar. The fender amp that comes with it might be small but it packs a big punch! If you are looking for a consistent guitar with a nice rock and blues sound then this would be the perfect guitar for you! Don't wait to buy it!

BEST beginner package!!!

This package has everything for beginners. A great guitar, good amp, and everything else a guitarist needs. The only down side is that the guitar is a little hard to tune, but other than that this is an amazing package for beginners!!!!

One sweet guitar for the price.

I bought this guitar about a month ago, and there aren't enough good things i can say about this guitar. True, it may be a cheap squier, however, this is the perfect guitar for begginers who want to give guitar a shot. The amp is awesome! the G-dec has the background bass and drums that are awesome. The options on the amp are great. i especially like the tremelo, reverb, and the many more amp efects it has. Great Guitar, Great Buy.

well worth the money

This product is everything they say it is, and the Fender g-dec jr. amp is great, you can do so much with it. I’m still learning what you can do with it. I never had so much fun playing guitar by myself. The guitar doesn't have very good action, but you get what you pay for and I'm very satisfied with it. I haven’t played guitar in 30 years, so this package is great for me. I definitely recommend it for beginners or people like me starting over again, and at a very good price I might add. It’s just a fun guitar and amp.

Amazing First Guitar/Amp Combo

This is an amazing first guitar, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great starter kit. After purchasing the guitar, I'm noticing how many people have the same guitar, which can be good or bad in your opinion, but it proves that this is a popular guitar. The difference lies in the AMP this package comes with, it really makes it a LOT nicer than the other packages that the Squier Strat comes with. My only problem with it is the lack of tuner, and the one built into the AMP is hard to use, although I just found one on the computer that plugs into the amps headphone out that works extremely well. All in all, I'd say this is the best beginner package out there.
