  • good bass for beginners

As reviewed by Jordan on 5/9/2010

I got this bass two years ago and it's good for pretty much all kinds of music I can think of. The only bad things I can think of are the cable isn't long enough, but you can just buy a longer one. Also, I don't like the input for the cable being on the front. It gets in the way, but that's just my opinion. Great overall.

  • Great Pack

As reviewed by Nick on 3/23/2010

I got this starter pack a year and a half ago, and it is absolutely wonderful. It's great for any beginner to bass. The accessories are good considering its a starter pack (get a working tuner though). The amp is sturdy and perfect for practicing. The bass tone control is very limited, but that shouldn't concern beginners. This is most definitely worth the money. You do need to replace it eventually. I've notice the action gets higher over time, and the strap and cable stop working, but this is awesome for beginning bassists. WELL worth the money spent.

  • great bass

As reviewed by Austin on 4/16/2008

this was my first bass i ever owned and it was pretty great. the strings are easily tuned and the pickup position are great for picking, plucking, and slapping. for such a small amp it actually gets pretty loud. i only have 2 complaint which are that theres alot of buzzing with the frets and when i first bought it the cable from the guitar to the amp didnt work so replace it immediately.
