I picked up one of these fender folding acoustic guitar stands out of impulse. Turns out it a good way to spend 16 bucks. You can just fold it up and take it along to gigs with you. It folds up nice and small and is a very high quality stand.
I got this stand as a gift and it fits my Martin acoustic but not my DEAN. Kind of disappointing since I leave the Martin in a case and the DEAN out of the case. The Martin is a really tight fit too. The body is standard dreadnought size too. My advice is to bring your acoustic to a shop and try before you buy. I leave it folded up and only use it during practices. Its kind of a hassle too because you really need to be careful when putting down your guitar. Lots of edges to nick your guitar.
I was surprised at how well this stand works. I use it for an ultra-thin Ovation and I wasn't shure that it was going to work, but this will handle acoustics of any width. It has a really nice angle and makes it look really cool. It is also lightweight and VERY compact. One of the arms came a bit loose after I opened it the first time though. It doesn't affect the stand when its open, but when it is folded up the arm will sometimes slip. Other than that (probably fixable) it is so much better than full size stands.
