NEW REVIEW - This is not your father's Fender Strap!
The OLD fender straps I got over 20 years ago were fantastic. Perfect, I love them. But recently due to acquisition of a new bass and one of my old straps started seperating on one of my guitars, I found need to go to GC to get 2 new ones. I got Fender's of course, but afterwards, I wish I didn't.
First thing I don't like about them is they're way too long. They're almost twice as long as the old versions, and I don't understand why. Are there that many 10 foot tall guitar players out there?
Second thing I don't like is the backing material on the strap. It's thinner, flimsier and slicker than the old ones. If it weren't for the fact that I have the outer part of the strap totally doubled over my shoulder, I'm sure this slicker material would cause the guitar to slip a lot. The strap ends are also thinner and I don't believe they'll last as long as the old ones.
Sadly, I can not recommend the newer Fender straps. If you can find an old one...by all means get it.

Pretty good strap
I got the strap for my P-Bass about two years ago. after a while the leather where you hook the strap to the end of the guitar got flimsy. it holds, but i always have to unwind it because of the flimsyness. it's comfortable and looks cool though.

Amazing quality, amazing strap
I am completly amazed with this strap, it came with my American Fender, but im definatly picking up one of these for my john mayer strat. I trust this strap over Gibsons straps because of the stronger and doubled stitched materials so it wont let go.

GREAT!!!
This strap looks good with almost any guitar you can think of. It is also feels really comfortable. I've had one for about three years and it doesn't have any rips at all. An excellent strap

Durable, Stylish, Nice Price
I Bought this strap along with my first guitar kit when i was in 5th grade, and it has lasted me all these years into 9th grade and i'm still using it. Good price, too, and looks good with most guitars.
If you like the style then buy it, it's got durability.

Fender guitar strap
I got the white, brown, and yellow Fender guitar strap to go with my new arctic white standard Stratocaster. It looks great, stays on my guitar, and is adjustable. I say go for it.

Could Be Improved
I only got it cause I saw someone on Claptons "Strat Fest" tour playing with one on their axe and it looks cool specially if you're a strat nut like me. Its comfortable, I use it for my P Bass. The padding is OK, BUT, the cheap vinyl backing is going to end up drying out and cracking. I wish they would use something a little better even if it costs a little more. However, I still like and it and if you want to fly your Fender Flag, buy one. Black, Red, Yellow.

Fender 2" monogrammed strap
This is one of the best straps I have found. The padding is great and it holds up well. No one can go wrong with this strap.
