Great Cajon

Both playable surfaces of this Fat Conga String Cajon sound great. The snare side has great bass, and the snare and slap sounds are also clear and distinct. The other side has great tone in both the lows and the highs. I have played both Meinl and LP cajons, and believe the Fat Congas cajon is superior. It also sounds great amplified through a sound system (I miked it from the outside).

THE MOST FUN DRUM AROUND!

If you have never played on one of these, I demand that you try one out. They are the most fun to play in my opinion. Tons of different sounds! The Fat Congas model sounds way better than most, every hit sounds in the pocket, and never comes out muddled!

This has to be the 2nd most fun drumming instrument ever, after, of course, the drum set. My friend actually thinks so highly of it that he stopped playing his set and is not playing this box nearly full time.
