The return of the Mellotron sound!
Nearly 500MB of Mellotron multisamples, drawing from over 800 carefully selected single recordings in half tone steps, produced by the Mellotron collector and specialist Klaus Hoffmann-Hook. As in the original, the "frames" were converted into ready-to-play Sampletank sets. Each frame set contains 23/35 multisamples, resulting in one sample per loop thus completely avoid unwanted side effects and securing absolutely authentic Mellotron sound. Includes legendary choir sounds with 10 ST-Instruments as well as the well-known string Sounds (7 ST-Instruments), that have reappeared as hits in the charts again and again. This vintage sound library which contains 26 frames is then rounded off by additional classics like various flute and brass sound sets.

With each Expansion Tank sound module you get SampleTank LE, which allows you to play each sound module as a standalone instrument or as a plug-in in your music production software. SampleTank supports all major platforms out of the box for both Mac & Windows. The LE player also provides a range of presets and an easy-to-use interface designed to feel comfortable for all musicians. Multi-sample technology gives each instrument, loop, and phrase maximum versatility for use with tools like Pitch Shift/Time Stretch, Loop Sync, and STRETCH.

Registered owners of at least one IK product are eligible to crossgrade to any other IK product at the discounted crossgrade price. Both retail and special bundled versions of IK products (SampleTank 2 SE, AmpliTube LE, and T-RackS EQ) qualify the customer to purchase the crossgrade version of other IK products. Previous registration for eligible IK software will be verified before the Upgrade/Crossgrade IK title is allowed to be registered.
