my dad bought a bunch of the green [.88mm] ones a while back... i tried one out and decided i liked em so much that i "borrowed" all of them from him. definitely takes a little getting used to, but if you have a hard time getting a grip on a standard pick, it's definitely worth giving these a shot.

I normally use a Jim Dunlop .60 nylon pick, well being more of strumming guitar player than a picker sometimes after practicing for a while the JD pick would slip from my fingers because of sweat. I saw these Everly Star Grip picks and thought what a novel idea, this should solve my problem. Well problem solved no more dropping the pick BUT it has created a new problem, pick spins. These picks will spin between you fingers and I find it utterly annoying, even more annoying than dropping a pick. I went back to using the Dunlops and will give these Everlys to anyone who bums a pick off me.

I got the green for a ...

By Jordan

from Severy, KS

Comments about Everly Star Grip Guitar Pick Dozen:

I got the green for a medium thickness. These work pretty good for fast playing. Dropping is rare. They tend to make a "clucking" sound striking the strings other picks don't, but that won't matter when playing loud.

NO WAY

By Dean Razorback 14

from N.R., OHIO

Comments about Everly Star Grip Guitar Pick Dozen:

These picks are horribal in general. the grips are so high up that when your speed picking or sweep picking the pics is horrible and bends. if you are playing with this pic, the next time you pic up a normal pic, it will feel all weird and you wont be able to play well. trust me if you are into rock this pic is not for you! especially if you like playing realy fast. o and by the way it's very hard to do pic harmonics with them also. so if you have these pics and you play rock, i recomend you dont use them and you switch to dunlop gatorgrip pics! your performance will increase Dramatically!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everly Star Grip Picks

By GuitarPlayer

from Undisclosed

Comments about Everly Star Grip Guitar Pick Dozen:

I use the orange .60 gauge picks and they work great. The star cutout in the middle really does help keep the pick in your hand but the feel takes some time getting used to. I have found that some of the picks wear out considerably faster than others but it might have been a bad batch.

No more wayward picks!

By Hakael

from Chicago, IL

Comments about Everly Star Grip Guitar Pick Dozen:

I'm just starting out with learning how to play the guitar and things were sometimes frustrating enough without having to worry about the pick in my fingers rotating one way or another. Looking around, I saw these, and bought a couple for a try. I LOVE these picks! They have a nice, non-glossy feel to them and the star shaped hole in the middle keeps them positioned where I want at all times. No more stopping in the middle of a tune because my pick decided to rotate in an odd fashion!

Good electric guitar picks

By ramlax13

from NJ

Comments about Everly Star Grip Guitar Pick Dozen:

These picks have great grip. The hole in the middle really makes a difference with grip. The only problem I have with them is that they do not sound good with acoustic guitars. They have a weird plastic sound when they are strummed with an acoustic guitar, but with an electric they work well.

The Greatest Pick in the History of Ever!

By Chad

from Fellowship of the Woodlands/WCE

Comments about Everly Star Grip Guitar Pick Dozen:

These will be the last picks you ever need to buy, until you leave them all over the place like I do. I have used these picks religiously for the past 4 years now and in all that time I truly have only dropped ONE of them while playing or practicing and that was while switching grips between finger picking. The grip is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Please buy these picks and nothing else. This is the way to play! I use the Orange .60MM.

Would be better without the hole!

By George

from Orange Park,FL

Comments about Everly Star Grip Guitar Pick Dozen:

I didn't like these picks at all. The hole lets the pick rotate around between your thumb & index fingertips while picking. By the end of your solo, you're not playing with the pointed end anymore. Also, where the hole is cut on the pick,it makes the pick flex a lot more. A "medium" pick would really feel like a "medium-thin". I'm going back to taking a razor blade to my Dunlops & making cross- hatch marks (#) on both sides. It's much better for grip that way instead of holes.
