my dad bought a bunch of the green [.88mm] ones a while back... i tried one out and decided i liked em so much that i "borrowed" all of them from him. definitely takes a little getting used to, but if you have a hard time getting a grip on a standard pick, it's definitely worth giving these a shot.
I love these picks. I play bass with the green .88mm picks, and I like the feel of them. The way they flex and the extra grip feel really good to me, and they seem to last a long time (although I do use flat wounds). I know they're not everyone's particular cup of tea, but I do recommend trying one (I found one at a venue or something, and promptly bought 3 dozen more. To each his own. =]
Well I stumbled upon this pick by accident, I was given the 1.14mm (purple) as a gift with some other stuff for Christmas last year. I have been using the star grip picks ever since... like others have said its kinda awkward at first to get comfortable with, but the only other option is to get some type of gel that helps you grip it better and I cant stand those things on my fingers. These picks are also very durable and last a good amount of time... even with heavy playing as I do atleast a couple hours a day.
