X-Rockers are no longer an alternative guitar string, but the standard for C# tuning. Designed specifically for tuning down, so that your strings don't flop around when when you de-tune. Just the pure, tight sound you can feel in your chest.
Awesome tension, no flopping, super punch. I use them as a "lighter" string for the guitars I tune down to drop-B. Love the unwound 3rd string. Keep in mind you may need to modify or get a new nut to accomidate the thickness of these strings. Check your neck if you tune these up anywhere near more "standard" tunings.
