NEW REVIEW - Eventide Eclipse - killer effects but not plug and play

I purchased this unit primarily for advanced pitch shifting capabilities. For this purpose you need a basic understanding of harmony and how to set the lowest note in the program you are using. It has superb audio quality, I/O options, and word clock. For me, it works best in my DAW rack where I use mainly for processing of instrument tracks. Algorithms are great and stereo sound is fantastic. Not as good in the mono loop of a guitar combo amp (prefer analog stomp boxes). In this situation, you need to specifically program the effects that you want in mono. In fact, I think you will need a good level of skill and music knowledge to get the best out of this box. Definitely worth the effort in my opinion.
