Awesome practice pad !

By Esteban Ramirez

from Denver

Okay, So after having a remo practice pad forever I decided that it was time to try something new. The one thing that I love about this practice pad is the dual side for sure. The grey side is the softer side and a little bit more bouncy which I really like because it feels good to practice all rudiments on this. The black side is the harder side and let me tell you it really does help with my endurance and speed I have noticed after warming up on the pad in the morning just with rudiments and then going to the kit how much it has helped me.I forgot to mention I bought the six inch mainly because ease of traveling with me. The thing I like about the six inch is, because it is small I am able to also practice my control of the sticks on a smaller area than a bigger one. Then when I take it to the snare I'm golden. If you are considering getting a practice pad and are thinking about this one GET IT. It is really good and you will not be disappointed. Some days I find myself practicing away on this little thing for hours because it is just that awesome and I love drumming. GET IT !

Get this.

By Jonathon

from Kansas City, MO

No drummer, no matter how experienced, should lack a practice pad. And this, my friend, is the ultimate practice pad. I have the 12" version, which is the one you should purchase, simply for the orientation of a real snare drum. The standard side gives a fantastic feeling of a real snare drum, and the workout side is great for building strength and endurance. It's nearly exclusive with me. This is a pad only, and lacks a stand and all those other gimmicks, but it's well worth it and straight-to-the-point.

This pad is great on the grey side if you want the feel of a marching snare drum and the black side is great for building endurance. Overall a great value.

I have had this pad for about 3 years and is loveing it. This pad gives you a great feel like a real drum, and as a bonus the 12 inch fits perfectly to a regular snare. It's worth every penny

Great Pad

By Jason

from Brooklyn NY

This practice pad has amazing bounce. I cant have a snare because of the noise and I play one in school, but this pad feels exactly like a real snare drum. It also has the same quality as the DW smart pad but for a much more affordible price.

overcharged in houston/clear lake

By Carol

from houston/clear lake, tx

I bought the 6 inch pad for my daughter who is a freshman first year drum line at high school and it was a demonstrator and the clerk charged me full price - $29.99 plus tax. He did clean up the pad slightly with some spray and a rag. The pad works fine and my daughter is happy with it but I feel I should have been given a discount since the pad was used.
