Sound out! Just the way it should be.

    By Matt Fontana

    from Johnstown, PA

Comments about Evans Hazy 300 Snare Side:

I've been using Evans heads since I was a teenager. A stage experience with Remo turned out to be not that great-I didn't like the sound of the heads. The Hazy 300 works for the styles I play. Matched with an Onyx (for both of my Yamaha snares), these snares turn into thunderous little beasts! I love it!!

    Amazing Replacement

    By Evan Walton

    from Minneapolis, MN

Comments about Evans Hazy 300 Snare Side:

This is definitely an amazing replacement snare-side drumhead. Made my snare sound like a completely new drum and it really stands up to high tension tunings. Great drumhead, great price. Can't go wrong with this.

For me the Hazy 300 is the best resonant head for snare. Just it!

    Great resonant head!

    By Jeremy Webster

    from ohio

Comments about Evans Hazy 300 Snare Side:

I bought this for my 13" OC Custom maple snare drum and I am extremely happy with the sound of it now. I have an Evans EC reversed dot batter head and I think that the combination sounds amazing. Much better than the stock resonant head I've been playing for the past couple of years.

    Perfect Sound

    By Laura Olsen

    from Fl

Comments about Evans Hazy 300 Snare Side:

I got exactly what I was looking for, I used this with the Genera HD Dry on my 14"x5" wood snare. It was very simple to tune and I would highly recommend it to anybody who is looking for a great snare sound.

    Punch and Power

    By Matt Posey

    from Palm Coast, Florida

Comments about Evans Hazy 300 Snare Side:

This head is probably on of the best snare side heads on the market. It is very easy to tune, it doesn't take very long at all to get worn in and stretched. Immediately, I honestly did not notice any difference to the sound of the drum, but then after a few days of playing, it got more and more seated to the drum. I eventually found out this amazing tuning technique too: tune your snare tight on the snare side, and moderately tight on the batter side. It almost completely eliminates snare buzz and adds aditional punch to the sound. With this head, your snare will sound AMAZING!

You have no idea until you try it!

    By Brian

    from Indianapolis, IN

Comments about Evans Hazy 300 Snare Side:

I have a piccolo snare (13 by 3.5, steel) and a regular snare (14 by 5.5, poplar). I put this head on the wood snare, and bam! It is great during any tuning. The piccolo was having problems, sounding (even when cranked) like a really deep, low-pitched snare. After several batter head changes, I found out it was the stock resonant head and threw this on there. The difference is amazing! And it's really cheap, too.

ready to go right out of the box

    By Auxknob1

    from Marietta GA

Comments about Evans Hazy 300 Snare Side:

Bought this head and the Genera Dry for my beat up Tama 14". And of the box it snugged up nice and gave that old steel shell a new life. This comba was exactly the sound I was looking for. Nice crack, light tone, very lively and clean, even with the lightest contact. Thank you Evans.
