  • Great for deep snares

As reviewed by Zack on 3/28/2011

I have a 10 ply maple snare 14x8 with 4 vent holes and I wanted to get all the power without all the ring so I tried this head and wow just as expected. It has an amazing rim shot the best I've heard and this head is tough I've had it on my snare for almost a year and its still going strong!

  • The ultimate snare sound

As reviewed by My Snare has awoke! on 9/13/2006

Finally a snare head that you can abuse and will also get rid of that horrable high end ring. My Pearl Reference snare is now alive, Everyone will notice the sound so buy it and try it, you wont go back to any other head.

  • A Nice Change

As reviewed by VooDooMan on 1/15/2007

I put this head on one of my stainless snares, which had always been a bit too bright-sounding. No such problem any more. The head allows a bit of brightness, owing to the thickness of the plies, but the dry venting works well to tighten things up nicely. I like it a lot.
