We are using this head in a "stadium" setting. It is in use on the drumset for a college band (300 members) in a 65 K seat stadium. We decided to use a drumset this year to play with the band when playing "pop tunes" so lessen the load on the drum line and went out and searched for the "loudest, best projecting" heads we could find. If you're looking for a great sound that really projects this is it. We get asked dozens of times a game what kind of amplification we're using on the drumset because it's that nice and loud. It's not overly "boomy" but instead just great sound and tons of it. Just for reference we're using a Evans EQ4 batter head in combo with this.
