    I dont know how Evans heads work for everyone else but I have this head opposite to the Emad batter heads and no offense to Evans but this particular resonant head was a major let down. I thought i wouldn't have to muffle the hell out the bass drums anymore with this head but its the same. I highly recommend that anyone considering this head should look for something else. However, Evans tom heads are indeed as excellent as everyone says!!
