Evans tenor heads are designed with an advanced hoop concept that prevents collar pull-out even under the most severe tuning conditions. With Evans' patented roll-over feature, the outer wall of the tenor hoop is bent inward to trap the film and epoxy in the hoop channel. This roll-over hooks downward, locking in the glue and preventing the outer wall from prying open.

The MX Frost tenor heads are made using 2 clear 7-mil plies with a durable translucent coating that provides a pure tone that is articulate yet warm and resonant and blends well with the overall ensemble.

    I play tenors for Romeoville High School and let me say these are the best tenor pads i have ever played on. Not only do they look good on our custom tenor finish they sound great. With great resonance and a great pitch these are great. Now you can crank these things to the max and they can take it and, it is hard to find a dead head. With Adam Hill tuning these babies they sound GREAT! Every copetition we went to the jusges all said the drums sounded great. I highly recomend these heads.
