Product Information

For that big, fat, wet, '70s sound.

Hydraulic drumheads feature two plies that sandwich a thin layer of oil and give the fat, wet sound that was pioneered in the '70s. The oil decreases sustain and enhances attack and low-end.

Firm feel, focused sustain, and warm tone. Order now.

Short and Sweet

I bought these heads about a month ago and I loved them. They'll give your drums a nice, deep, warm tone. You'll like them if you want a short, deep sound from your toms. These heads get rid of most of the ring and supply a good amount of punch.

Low, Fat

If you just hate that ring from your drums and want a real low tone, these are perfect. These heads totally kill the ring from your drums and make them roar. They will sound good on almost any kit because they are so thick and they will last you a long time.

EVER THINK OF THIS AS A SNARE HEAD?!?!

I went into guitar center to look for a head to give me a more low pitch for my snare. My first choice was the Evans Onyx, but the sustain was too much for me. So i went back couple days later, and found the Evans Hydraulic Glass. The moment i tuned it up and hit it. I fell in love. Much better than any Remo head, and much deeper than the EC reverse dot head and Evans Onyx. Try this head you will be happy.

Great, but...

These heads have really great, deep tone. They have a quick, short sound, with not too much resonance. They have very good sound on smaller toms, like 8 inch ones. I use them on my pdp fs series toms, and they really sound great. The only thing I dislike about them is that when they start getting used quite a bit, the tone starts to die out. I haven't dented them at all after 4 months on my kit of daily playing, but they are starting to sound really dead. Overall a great, durable head.
