I bought these heads about a month ago and I loved them. They'll give your drums a nice, deep, warm tone.You'll like them if you want a short, deep sound from your toms. These heads get rid of most of the ring and supply a good amount of punch.
Got me a set of Gtetsch drums about 3 months ago and been driving my self crazy trying to get the perfect sound out of them, I've used several different sets of heads and could not find the sound i was wanting. Then a guy from guitar center recommend these heads, I finally found that deep fat rock sound i was looking for. These heads are the best that i have herd. Easy to tune and sound awesome. I recommend these heads to any level of player that is looking for that 80's rock sound.
I bought these heads about a month ago. I have to say, it's exactly what I was looking for. They give you a low tone with little to no ring or those nasty overtones. I plan on buying the black Hydraulics when I buy my new OCDP kit. They're soo good, I'd recommend them to anyone.
