Hydraulic Glassdrum heads from Evans feature two plies that sandwich a thin layer of oil and give the fat, wet sound that was pioneered in the 70's. The oil decreases sustain and enhances attack and low-end from your toms.
Well the place I purchased at sold them to me for 20 bucks(a steal) because they had to get rid of leftover christmas merch.At first i was a skeptic but after I set them up and played 'em for a while I realized they were probably the bust heads I have ever used, the snare is especially magnificent. They have an overall clean, fat, and wet sound.

These heads are great. I would NEVER use any other tom heads but Evans Hydraulic. The price is amazing compared to how great they sound. Definately BUY THESE if you want a killer sound for a good price.
