My favorite drum heads. Put these on any kit and it will sound better than you can imagine. Very warm and resonant with out the ring. They tune very easily and sound good even when not tuned properly. These heads could make coffee cans sound good. Do yourself a favor and try them if you haven't. Exceptional quality and they last forever.
I just got these about a week ago and WOW! These drum heads are great for playing Rock music. They have a very nice warm tone to them and sound awesome. In my opinion they sound about as close to professional drums with mics and audio professionals as you can get, without paying for all of the equipment. I have a 5 piece kit and bought the 10/12/16 pack and my toms sound amazing. The sustain is just perfect and they would be great for playing live and recording. I recommend these drum heads to ANYONE! depending on your style I don't know how good they will be for jazz and other music, but for rock and metal, PERFECT CHOICE!!
Installed these on my Mapex Mars Pro Fusion 6 piece two weeks ago and am truly amazed at the result! My old Aquarian Performance 2's were nice but did not hold the specific qualities (or looks) these Heads have clearly provided. They truly sound Beautiful; providing a nice warm, deep tone that -tuning wise- was achieved extremely easily. So far they are holding there tune perfectly as well. I couldn't ask for anything more outta these, even though they're paired with classic clears. So i can assume it would sound even better with matching Evan's Resonants. Grab some moongels, this Head Pack, and a little time for Tuning and you'll have a brand new sounding Drumset; as well as a Smile from "ear to ear" that'll last for Months. Thanks Evans!
