An ideal blend of depth, sustain, and attack.
The G2 coated batter is a two-ply head featuring extraordinary consistency and durability. The G2 makes small toms sing and floor toms growl.
I bought these a couple of weeks ago, and they sound great. They are pretty easy to tune, and they are very durable. They made my drums sound brighter, with just the right amount of resonance. I highly recommend these heads.

I have used evans G2 coated for 8 years. They have a consistency from head to head. It takes about 3 months of daily playing for me to replace them only because of the coating wearing down. I usually use these heads for live bebop and big band jazz. These heads have a brighter tone than normal coated heads. So, if you are used to the coated REMO Ambassador heads, the Evans G2 coated will have a brighter tone.

Are you tired of having to replace heads all the time. Get these heads on your drums and solve the problem. They're sturdy, durable, can take all those heavy licks, great sound and no, the coating doesn't wear off like some snare heads. You will be very pleased with Evans G2 coated heads.
