A killer replacement head!
The G2 clear batter is a 2-ply drumhead with incredible consistency. Has a powerful, fat, focused attack and full, controlled sustain. Ideal for live or studio use.
The G2 head is without a doubt the best tom head i have ever heard. It is a very pure sound, with the perfect amount of punch, sustain, and tone. This is the top-of-the-line head i would recommend to anyone , for any genre. I gave these heads all 5.0, not because im lazy, because they deserved a 5.0 in all of those categories. If you get this head, you will not be disappointed.

My friend has these on his Gretsch Catalina Birch kit. His kit sounds AWESOME! The toms really sing. These heads are a great 2 ply head. Pretty much equivilant to a Remo Emperor. If you are looking for some new heads, check these out.

G2s are solid heads. They sound pretty good on my Catalina Birch kit. Their durability is good, but not great. The tuning range of G2?s is fairly wide in my opinion. When used on any tom larger than 12 inches, some external muffling will defiantly be necessary. Overall, good tom heads.

I have used evans G2 clears for 8 years. They have a consistency from head to head. It takes about 6 months of daily playing for me to replace them. I usually use these heads for recording due to the great attack and sustain. I use them on a birch drumset which complements these heads perfectly.
