I just put these bad boys on my Tama Imperialstar about an hour ago and lemme tell you, THEY SING!!! Could be because these are the first real set of heads I have gotten for em' to replace the stock Tama heads but either way they sound great!!! Got my 9x12 tom tuned really high and it holds its tone and sounds great! But on the other hand I have my 16x16 tuned really low and it rumbles forever and I love it! The other review next to this one says the guy wanted a "thud" sound for his toms. If you want your drums to sound like crap and "thud", then don't get these or tune em like crap. These are some Quality heads. I will be buying these and other Evans products in the future!
I just Got these Heads with my drums that i got a month ago (drumming for about 3 years now), I was pretty disapointed by the sound of them , they dont really give that "Thud" to them the only one that gives a nice sound to is the floor tom that sounds really nice , But i highly recommend Getting the evans G2 Clear's
