okay, this is a great accessory, albeit only a patch, but it does wonders to muffle your bass drums and extend the life of your heads. one thing, however. if you use felt beaters, the felt will wear away very quickly, so I recommend using a plastic beater, unless your bass drum still resonates too much.
This bass drum dampener really gives your kick drum a real nice and crisp sound every time you use it. A must buy for anyone needing that extra something to make your bass drum sound even better
I had bought and evans Emad Single ply head and had 2 of these layered on top of eachother. Head now has a beater sized hole in it. 2 weeks after i bought it.
