Product Information

Your quest for superior drum sound starts here!

Evans broke new ground by developing the EC2 batter head, which removes unwanted overtones, focuses pitch, and enhances attack without inhibiting the dynamic range as other damped heads do. Rolls around the toms spread in clean intervals; floor toms groan with presence. The EC2 features an "Edge-Control" ring mounted underneath two plies of 7mil film. By controlling, instead of eliminating, edge vibration, the ring isolates and damps higher overtones, enhancing low-end and attack, and enabling a broader tuning range.

The answer for drummers looking for that studio sound. Order tpday!

Most versatile heads ever!

I LOVE these heads. I've always been looking for a head that dampens out those nasty overtonesbut can also still keep a great sound, and this head is it. They can be tuned down very low which is great for the lowest drum, and I've got my high tom tuned very high. These heads can with stand the hardest rockage and still sound amazing.

Evans EC2 Clear

I got these to replace my G2 coated heads. I got a bit deeper tone from them which made the drums sound better. You will like these.

way better

WOW. I have had these heads for about 4 months now and they have held up so far. I have tried remo heads and evans g2 but the ec2 heads are the way to go. If you try these and know how to put them on you will have an awesome experience. The moon gels did help i will admit. and i have another sound dampening technique but these heads are so worth the money. don't waste your money on remo pinstripes. Get the Evans ec2 heads. 2 ply is the way to go.

Good for the price

You cannot get anything better for this price. However, these are pretty good skins. Althought they may not last long and keep the same sound...YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!
