  • Perfect!

As reviewed by Alex on 8/13/2010

This is a tool primarily for de-tensioning heads. Please do not purchase this product with the intent to tune your drums with this tool. There is no possible way to fine tune a drum with a drill. Period. If you purchase this tool expecting to save much time removing old heads that you will be discarding and are not worried about damaging during removal, you will be 100% satisfied. I am a drum tech in a studio, and this tool can be used on a drill, or a hand-held ratchet-type screw driver, which is my preference (can't ever run out of batteries/power, much smaller, much lighter). Best of luck.

  • I love it!!!!

If you have multiple sets and or change your heads often, this is the best $6 you'll ever spend on your drums! It saves me a ton of time. The only issue I have is that GC doesn't carry these in store yet so you have to order online. But still the best bang for you buck.

  • Super Fast

As reviewed by Nick on 4/7/2008

Ok, I saw this and thought that it would be a great product because it can save me time and hand aches from using a normal drum key, well it did. the only reason i gave this 4 stars is because it cant fine tune if you use it on a drill. dont buy this unless you have a seprete hand crank drum key. other then that this product is awesome.
