Good, not great, but Good is fine!

By Carter Theis

from San Francisco

I saw the review of the guy who said the handle broke on his...so I was a little sketched. I bought one and when I got home noticed that a few of the rivets had already broken, and someone had tried to "fix/hide" the problem by hot gluing the metal corner to the case!!! Can't get any more ghetto. I reordered another one, There was some issue with the hinges not lining up. So I traded for a 3rd one they had in the store. That one has done me well. I pack it to the max w records. I lug and carry it every weekend to Dj in San Francisco. So far it's given me no problems. People need to remember that Dj equipment is for a dying breed. The companies that are making the stuff are sketch to begin with mostly. So, be patient, inspect the products thoroughly and save your receipt.

High quality. I use it to store guitar equipment between gigs. Very effective.

Extremely useful

Great box. So far mine's almost slap full. Great for carrying them records around. Although I wish they came in blacklight colors.

Handle cannot handle weight

By Analog Blonde

from Hollywood, CA

I purchased the top loading case and found it to be very heavy with only 25 lps inside. Lifting it with only 25 lps inside to move the records and the handle broke on one side. USELESS TO MOVE WITHOUT HANDLE. I had stored records in it for one month, then it was time to move, and then it gave out on me. Do not buy this for records. It is not a professional case, it is fake.

Watch out for capacity

By 1954 JM

from Waterville ME

I like the look and quality of these Euro cases for the price. However I question the "up to 70" record capacity. That may be without the record jackets because I could only fit about 55 LPs with their jackets. Thus may have to order a third case.

It is what it is

By loganizer

from Springfield, UT

First and foremost, most of the case is made out of some kind of plastic. There is a very real possibility, in my humble opinion, that this thing could break if you dropped it, or banged it up against something really hard. So if your vinyl is worth more than that to you... be aware of that. That being said, it looks nice, even up close (you can't tell what it's made out of unless you actually touch the thing), and it would probably get you to more than a few gigs and back, if you make a point of not dropping it while it is full. Oh, also, if you tip the lid all the way back, it comes unhinged. Not a biggie, just something to be aware of, that I haven't seen happening with other cases like this. Despite the limitations, and apparently somewhat cheap construction, I'll probably get years of use out of mine. I guess not such a bad deal after all is said and done
