The quality of the case is very good. It fits together nicely and offers good protection. The top lid is too short for to allow for the cables to remain connected in the top of my Behringer X1832USB mixer even with it as low as it can go in the top rack. There is barely room for the mixer itself without any connections on top at the designed angle. I lowered the top rail by drilling a new hole each side to make the rail level, making the mixer sit flat and there is still not enough room to allow for the mic cable connectors. The idea was to keep the system intact instead of connecting all the cabling for each setup. If the top was about six inches deep this would be a perfect setup. I can make this work with some modifications, but I would not buy a fixed rail system again.

Awesome combo road case

Comments about Eurolite 10x6 Mixer/Amp Combo Rack Case:

Great case. Works exactly as intended. Everything fit just the way it should. The only issue is that is it is super heavy. Way more heavy that I had thought it should be. However, that is probably a good thing with it being a road case.

Solid Value

Comments about Eurolite 10x6 Mixer/Amp Combo Rack Case:

Bought this for a Mackie 1604vlz and some processing gear. Had to move the front cross brace down 1U and move the mixer forward as much as possible. It fits with a half inch clearance in the front and just enough room for all the plugs in the back without having to buy any right angle plugs. Perfect! Any bigger would just be a waste of cargo space during moves. Haven't gigged with it yet but it seems really solid. Came with enough screws and rubber washers to mount everything. You might be able to fit something in the 7th U if it's really shallow. Very happy with it.

We purchased this case to house our audio equipment for our young church. Great investment. We only wish we would of purchased one with a laptop shelf. Other than that, love it!

Comments about Eurolite 10x6 Mixer/Amp Combo Rack Case:

Looked for a rack that would serve the needs of my duo and this one does the trick without breaking the bank. The ABS equivalents are, while being a little more lightweight, are rather pricey. After checking the reviews I decided to take a chance and do not regret my decision. I was a little leary about the small back panel opening at first, but I had no problems connecting cables or routing anything. Generally I leave the front panel on and just tip it up on end so I have easy access through the back opening (not to mention more light in the back of the rack). I read where someone stated that they could only get two screw holes to line up to mount their mixer on the top rails. I, too, ran into this problem with my Mackie CFX12. The only location that I could mount 4 screws to hold it sufficiently put the mixer so far back that I could not route cables down to the equipment below. I found a simple fix. There is a supplied rack blank that holds the sides together for rigidity and to keep the tongue and groove in place for the covers. I mounted another piece of single space equipment in the rack to keep the sides sturdy, then removed the blank to allow the mixer to come down the rails farther. This way I was able to find another point where I could get 4 screws in to hold the mixer properly. The mixer hangs out past the front of the rack a little when the rack is in use but does not interfere with the front cover. This also gives extra room for cords and ventilation at the back of the rack.
As someone else mentioned it is a good practice to check ALL screws and nuts and bolts before mounting anything in these units. This will save much headache as I indeed found numerous loose screws when I checked for proper tightness. This is somewhat of a nuisance but a small price to pay considering the cost of the unit.
All in all this has been a great addition and allows us to leave everything hooked up (this requires the use of right angle 1/4" cords, which I also got at MF) and, although it takes both of us to pick it up, we can move all of our PA electronics at one time.
        Now for a lightweight amp.

Comments about Eurolite 10x6 Mixer/Amp Combo Rack Case:

My experiences with this case has been very good. I was looking for a case to build a drum monitor rack system. That I can afford and still put a lot of stuff in it. All latches and handles are top professional standards. The case has thick robber feet's on the bottom. The spring, thick rubber handles are very strong. The entire case is extremely re-in forced from corner to corner. The case even comes with 25 rack mount screws to get you started :)I've traveled in the military special band with similar cases. Trust, me if you don't dog the case, these case will last!

Comments about Eurolite 10x6 Mixer/Amp Combo Rack Case:

I bought this to house and protect a small scale PA front of house. Small mixer, power amp, power conditioner, outboard efx, etc. The description and pictures online leave a lot to be desired, so thought I would fill in from my experience. 10 slant spaces on top, 6 on bottom. Sturdy construction and everything seems like it's very well built for the long haul. It came with a good amount of screws and washers (though the washers are plastic and will likely crack over time). Everything except the mixer fit in perfectly, but I was mounting a mini-mixer with attachable rack wings so that may account for the lack of perfect fit. I got 2 holes of the mixer screwed in so it's secure enough for now (especially being on top where gravity helps) and I plan on drilling out a tiny bit of the other 2 so I can get them attached. I also had to tighen up several of the hardware (screws, nuts, etc) upon shipment, but nothing that a couple handtools and 5 minutes couldn't solve.

Overall a great product for the money. It is heavy (especially with power amp installed) but it's very durable and should last a long time. I hope to upgrade my mixer to a larger rack-mount model in the coming months and am happy to have room to expand with the 10U on top and still have room for EQs, gate/comp, etc.

This case was well worth the money, it's well made strong and roomy, the only thing was the cover it's too shallow to keep mic cables pluged in with the top closed. Other than that I was extremely satisfied. GC does it again for me, great job guys!!!

        Excellent case

Comments about Eurolite 10x6 Mixer/Amp Combo Rack Case:

I've been using my Eurolite 10x6 Mixer/Amp Combo Rack Case on the road for a couple years now. I have it loaded with a Eurorack mixer and several rack items. I love this thing. It's very tough, convenient and even kind of cool looking. If you take a little bit of care, it doesn't even scratch very easily.I only have two minor criticisms:First, the back wall of the box doesn't leave a lot of space pluggin things into the back of a mixer. I have this problem with the Eurorack. It be a bit easier with a mixer with connections on top.Second, the little door in back makes it hard to access the backs of the vertical rack units. I did found it helpful to mount a stick-on "push light" on the bottom of the mixer to see in this area. These are minor complaints thought and I still think this is a fantastic box.
