  First and foremost, most of the case is made out of some kind of plastic. There is a very real possibility, in my humble opinion, that this thing could break if you dropped it, or banged it up against something really hard. So if your vinyl is worth more than that to you... be aware of that. That being said, it looks nice, even up close (you can't tell what it's made out of unless you actually touch the thing), and it would probably get you to more than a few gigs and back, if you make a point of not dropping it while it is full. Oh, also, if you tip the lid all the way back, it comes unhinged. Not a biggie, just something to be aware of, that I haven't seen happening with other cases like this. Despite the limitations, and apparently somewhat cheap construction, I'll probably get years of use out of mine. I guess not such a bad deal after all is said and done

• Handle cannot handle weight

  I purchased the top loading case and found it to be very heavy with only 25 lps inside. Lifting it with only 25 lps inside to move the records and the handle broke on one side. USELESS TO MOVE WITHOUT HANDLE. I had stored records in it for one month, then it was time to move, and then it gave out on me. Do not buy this for records. It is not a professional case, it is fake.

  High quality. I use it to store guitar equipment between gigs. Very effective.
