These strings are perfect for blues, rock, or just straight shred! These strings can live longer than a tree and take a major beating, you wont be disappointed for buying these strings! I always keep 9 or 10 pairs with me.
great long lasting strings I haven't had to change them in 3 months
Besides the fact that these are the strings that most of the greatest musicians use, I'll have to say I loved them. I had been using D'Addario strings, and I wanted to try these out. The tone is great, they feel really nice to the hand and they are also easy to bend. I'm definitely changing to these strings from now on. I totally recommend them.
These are some pretty good strings next to the Regular Slinkies. I like the feel of these strings and they hold up to my insane playing. I hammer the strings on my guitars. These sound amazing on a Strat or SG with low action. they will play like a dream. If i don't have any 10's on me, these are my choice. EB ROCKS!!!
The guitar store I was in at the time did not have the strings I wanted and didnۡt really have a large selection so I had these thrown on. Unfortunately these strings are not for me nor do I feel these strings are for someone that has been playing guitar for some time. The reason I say this is; if you have been playing for a while and you can bend, do hammer-ons and pull-offs then these strings are not for you. When you do any type of cord (pressing down on the strings onto the fret(s) you get a bending sound or a sound that sounds a bit warped. So these strings would be perfect for someone with small hands or who is a new guitar playing wanting to master bends, pull-offs and pull-ons, but if you are a more accomplished player then I would pass these up and go onto something better.
I've gotten into the habit of stretching my strings out before i play them so the slack is already out of the stings and they'll stay in tune better and since I've started doing that, ernie balls have broken twice on me right from the get go... I know you're probably thinking "you just used too much force" but when other strings have never broken right outta the pack and I was even able to apply more fore than I did to these, either time. I'm sorry, I've been playing for six years and I dont care how many people you pay to play your strings, they suck.... plain and simple.
I bought three packs of these strings during a promo. I was thinking that they might not be that great because of the price but i was wrong. When i cant get ahold of my favorite SIT strings i buy these. They last a long time, sound nice, and are cheap. I really like them for my Ibanez Ag85 hollowbody.
