Overview

Many wah pedals only sound good when they're moving. The Ernie Ball Wah is designed to sound good regardless of where you have it set. Made from an aluminum alloy casting providing major durability, the wah pedal has a 12-degree foot sweep with a smooth coated Kevlar drive, true bypass, and adjustable on/off switch with a bright LED when on. It's AC or battery powered with easy battery access. A/C power jack and 1/4" instrument jacks are all on the back, keeping the Ernie Ball Wah's footprint small.

Worth the Price... For YOU!

By Sebastian

from Minneola, Florida

Comments about Ernie Ball 6185 Wah Guitar Effects Pedal:

I didn't do any research on it until I got it, and I was blown away at the price and the specs (indestructible??!!). It also came with an A/C adapter, so that was nice of EB (you normally have to buy it separately, unless you already have one) When I turned it on, I was stunned by the amazing green LEDs. Now, I'm no guitar sound expert, but to me, the wah sounds awesome. It's better than the wah on my Line 6 MKII pedal. The only problem I have is that there is a hum sound from my amp when the EB pedal is on, so I'll have to research that.

Look at this. the truth

By Dr. Jake

Comments about Ernie Ball 6185 Wah Guitar Effects Pedal:

The ernie Ball 6185 wah is the second and by far the best wah wah petal i have had. One thing i really like is the construction. I play on a line 6 and i have a petal that switches from channel to channel. there has been times when I am so busy swithching petals that i have to stand on my wah for just a few seconds. it is extremely tough. STOMP PROOF. PERFECT SOUND FOR SONGS LIKE VOODOO CHILE. It surfs with the alien!

Bad Daddy

Comments about Ernie Ball 6185 Wah Guitar Effects Pedal:

there are sevaeral featurs abought this pedal that puts it slightly above the rest. the led lights are nice, as well as the true bypass, but what really made the sale for me was how smooth the auctual wah was. Its true that this pedal is great for those guys who leave their wahs in one position for that muddy yet transparent sound but it isnt afraid to get funky without those annoying ear piercing highs that many wahs poeses, plus it leaves the true tone of your guitar alone, thers no additional coloring. if ure looking for a wah that can auctually be put to use and not overpower the sound you have got to check out this wah.

Not even close...

Comments about Ernie Ball 6185 Wah Guitar Effects Pedal:

This pedal looks good but doesnۡt sound good.... It does sound good in any still position u put it in... However, it does not cry like a cry baby... If your looking for a pedal that sounds like a true wah wah pedal... your out of luck.... over priced and not worth it... stick to the original crybaby....

Blown Away!!!!!!!!!

By Andruwrenairio

from Knoxville, Tennessee

Comments about Ernie Ball 6185 Wah Guitar Effects Pedal:

I just got this wah wah pedal a few days ago. I had read a ton of reveiws and most of them said something about not having enough power or not having the right tone. This pedal didn't seem very poplar so I was a little worried. I really liked the few reviews i read on it so i gave it a try. I took it home and played it. It blew me away. It had a great amount of power. It brought anything i played to a new level. It brought Voodoo Child to life. This pedal works for any style of music.

great pedal

By Jim

from colorado

Comments about Ernie Ball 6185 Wah Guitar Effects Pedal:

I found this pedal to be the best sounding. It really does have a sweet spot whenever its used. I play this pedal thru a Peavey 6505+ head, soldano cabinet and a esp custom guitar. I have spent many days and nights online researching effects pedals and found the Ernie ball wah to be the best, even after playing the morley steve vai and dunlop (zakk wylde, dimebag).
