aluminum tank

By

from Pocatello , Id

Comments about Ernie Ball 6166 Mono Volume Pedal:

Here is the thing. I went on line to check for several items. While on line , every thing I was lookin for was, checked," IN STOCK " so I drove 120 miles to pickup what I needed. Welllll I arrived at guitar center and was informed that there was not a thing on my list in stock. Yea I was quite disappointed. They even told me that they didn't carry one of the items that was listed " on sale " So I ended up having to order the items and wait for them to be delivered. As for the Ernie Ball Volume pedal...WOW this thing is built crazy tough. It is easy to use for my lap steel. All the connections are in the front and a nice skid proof footpedal. Did I mention , built like a tank ? And not made in China.

Industrial Strength Volume Pedal

By

from Nashville, Tn

Comments about Ernie Ball 6166 Mono Volume Pedal:

I wore out the pot in my EarnieBall JR volume pedal after 2 years of heavy use. This unit has replaced my JR and it is just plain built tougher, industrial strength. I am a power-user on volume swells etc. This pedal is smooth and goes from completely off to full on like your brain thinks it should. Other pedals don't completely shut off, or have a quirky taper, or worse color the sound in a negative way (like a particular optical circuit). This pedal does the stuff and sounds great doing it!!!

Ernie Ball 6166 Mono Volume

By

from Shiprock, New Mexico

Comments about Ernie Ball 6166 Mono Volume Pedal:

This volume pedal is great! With the jacks in front it is easy to plug in and out. The tuner jack is also great and when your playing you can leave the tuner on all the time. Overall this pedal is awesome. (Also just be sure not to break the string inside the pedal.)

Bigger than a Jr. but still great

By

from minneapolis, mn

Comments about Ernie Ball 6166 Mono Volume Pedal:

Ernie Ball 6166 Mono Volume Pedal. It is larger than the Jr. version but I like this volume pedal because, like the Jr, it doesn't color tone... The tuner out is very handy but be aware that if your tuner is poor in quality it may still effet the tone.
