Ernie Ball 2253 Super Slinky electric guitar strings

By Matt Cary

from St. Michael, MN

Fantastic strings! These actually stay in tune better than the so-called SIT strings I've been using as of late-- figure that one out. Sound-wise they're super warm, but with a nice crisp treble response. Nice and flexible for bending too- My new favorite strings!

Look no further

By Timbo M

from Ohio

If you've got a Strat or Tele, these are the strings for you. I had previously tried four different brands of nickel strings on my American Standard Strat, and just wasn't satisfied. I'm normally a fan of 10s and was a little hesitant about trying a thinner gauge, but these strings are perfect. They bend like a dream, hold significant sustain for a thinner string and most importantly - they stay in tune. Couldn't be more pleased.

These are my strings.

By Scott C.

from Nashville, TN

After playing electric for 22 years, (funk, blues, thrash, punk rock, experimental) I have decided it's Ernie Ball Pure Nickel Classic RockN'Roll or nothing at all on my guitar, and I can't stand it if a local dealer doesn't have them on the rack. I've tried so many times to branch out or re-visit other reputable strings, but I find I am too completely spoiled by the Ernie Ball Classic Rock'n'Roll pure nickel magic to feel anything but unsatisfied when playing with anything else. No other string provides me with the variety of colors and tones these strings readily produce. The difference is not only noticeable, it is dramatic, such that I honestly cannot get many of "my sounds" using any other string. Comparing these strings to any others is like comparing a box of 64 crayons to a pack of six gray ones. If they ever stopped making these, I would seriously be distraught. In terms of tone, it really is the closest thing to having a set of magic strings on your guitar. That is my humble opinion.

GREAT STRINGS

By Joseph C.

from Los Angeles,CA

I love these strings, i used to use D'Addario strings but they were not very durable, and they cost much more. I really enjoy these strings it has one of the best (if not the best) Rock sounds out there. I highly recommend these strings to anyone who is tired of paying alot for strings.

Best Strings I've ever used

By Ricky

from Miami, FL

These strings will produce so many tones from rock to jazz and even some metal! For me, I play about four and a half hours a day, and they last about three months with out braking. I personally think these are the best strings ever made! If you need some new strings and aren't sure what to get, or you're just looking to get something different, i would definitely recommend these!

I love these strings

By spikormikor13

from MD

The Ernie Ball 'Rock N Roll' classic super slinky strings are amazing, I love them. Like the other Super Slinky's, these strings are thin but not to the point where they'll break after a week. In fact, these strings are quite durable. I can't believe I wasted my money on Elixirs. The Ernie Balls' cost half the price and last double the time. These strings are cheap, durable, and sound awesome. Ernie Ball is the way to go.
