awesome strings - used for many years

By

from Mebane, NC

I play semi-professionally, and I've used these strings on my PRS Custom 24, my Les Paul, and my old Strat for years. They sound great and they play great. I sweat worse than any player I've ever met, so I don't usually try to get through multiple gigs on a single set. If I properly use my Fast Fret and wipe them down after each set, I can get that second gig, but the truth is, they sound so good right out of the package that I don't mind dropping the $4 each time I hit the stage. I'm pretty picky, and I could afford a different string if that's what I wanted, but I'm just not even looking for a new string.

Weaker, but Better

By

from Lima, OH

After bouncing between DR, D'addario and SIT quite a bit, i've found that the Ernie Ball's sound and feel the best, but they are the most fragile. I break them alot easier than other brands. But, nonetheless, i would say the pros outweigh the cons....go Ernie Ball, you'll be happy you did!

Great set of strings

By

from Riverside, CA

I have loved these strings ever since my friend turned me on to them. I used to play coated strings like Elixers and Cleartones, but I found these to be just as good and a fraction of the price. The 9 on the bottom makes bends easy and thus playability increases. The 46 on the top is the perfect size to make bar chords solid and stable. I have two guitars that have the same set on them for the last 3 months and they still sound great! From my experiences, they don't get as eaten up or dull sounding as all the other strings I have played over the last 15 years.I really love these strings and I recommend them.
