I put these on my Epiphone Sheraton, and I found that the strings were too vibraty, specially with the open notes. I play a lot of Smiths/Johnny marr and Oasis, and saw that JM and Noel gallagher use this string gauge. So I bought them, put them on, and I found that the strings I regular use, the .11 gauge super slinkies, were able to recreate their sound more accurately.

Best you will find...

By Richard Mantie

from Las Vegas, Nevada

I have been a guitar player since the 70s and have always used these strings, I keep them on my Fenders, Les Pauls, and Epiphones and have no intention of changing brands! These will stay in tune GREAT for you, are bendable, and will withstand corrosion very well(if you maintain them with a string lube such as FastFret)I have played outdoor shows in the rain, snow, and all sorts of weather with these and found they will hold up great with a simple wipe off after playing and a coating of FastFret, and NOTHING is better in their price range! I get string companies sending me test strings all the time, and many are great, but much more expensive, so trust me and at least try a few sets, i bet you will always use them...

Impressed!

By Jayce Wagner

from Moorhead, MN

I have used the extra slinkies before but I just didn't like them. I bought these simply because I needed some for an emergency. After I put them on I was in love and these are the only electric guitar strings I will ever use!

Near Perfect

By Andy Nugent-Gomez

from San Bernardino, CA

I bought these strings to replace the rusted ones on an old guitar. They're very durable, easy on the fingers, and they sound great. These are definitely worth it for the price. If you need a new set of strings, these are the ones.

Great strings

By Jeremy DeBose

from Louisiana

Honestly, I've only used the factory strings(9 gauge), and these over the last couple months since I bought my guitar. I moved up to the 10s and I love them. Great output and I can bend them unmercifully.

2 and done

By Mikey

from Nauvoo, AL

I have used these strings a lot and they always got corroded fast. At first I assumed it was from my extensive playing but over the past two weeks they've gotten corroded with little playing. I'm buying a new brand when I finish up with what I already have.

By Pat

from Weirton, WV

Ernie Ball Regular & Super Slinky strings are excellent. Priced right and play great!!! Don't be fooled into thinking more expensive is better... That's not always true. Ernie Ball strings prove it.
