This money saving 2-pack of Ernie Ball Slinky Acoustic Guitar Strings features patented coated Titanium RPS Technology that resists rust and grime for bright and powerful tone time after time.
Ernie Ball's titanium coated 2156 Slinky guitar strings are stronger and longer-lasting than traditional strings--either coated and uncoated strings. That's thanks in part to an exclusive protective coating on both the wrap wire and the plain strings as well as a patented winding of titanium wire around the lock twist of the ball end. Staying true to Ernie Ball's heritage of superb craftsmanship and sound quality, Slinky Acoustic Guitar Strings are made with the finest and freshest raw materials, resulting in a crisp ringing sound with pleasing overtones.
Enhancing the inherent guitar string quality and freshness is Ernie Ball's string packaging. Produced and hermetically sealed into their packages at Ernie Ball's desert headquarters in Coachella, CA, Slinky Acoustic Guitar strings are exposed to minimal moisture and humidity from factory to retailer--insuring that all Ernie Ball strings are as fresh upon opening as they were the day they were made.

Comments about Ernie Ball 2156 Coated Slinky Acoustic Strings Medium Lite 2 Pack:
These strings were suggested to me by the salesman at my local guitar center. I took them home and put them on my acoustic guitar and immediately loved the sound. The strings have now been on my guitar for about two weeks and although the sound has faded somewhat, they still sound great. however, earlier today i was playing when i noticed a buzz ing noize coming from the g string. upon closer examination I saw that the g string was coming unwound over every fret. I will admit that I play my acoustic pretty hard and everyday, sometimes as much as a few hours a day, but I usually run regular slinky's and I have never had this problem. So, although these strings sound great(better than regular slinkys) they dont seem to last as long.
