Ernie Ball Music Man

collapse expand iconDescription

The Music Man StingRay Slo Special 4-String H Electric Bass is constructed with a select hardwood body, narrower select maple neck, tighter 1.5 in. nut spacing, Schaller BM tuners, and a 3-band active EQ. This version offers a powerful Music Man humbucking pickup with plenty of thundering tone to go around.

Few basses are as flat-out cool or have as much powerful tone as the famous StingRay. When it was introduced in 1976, it was the first bass to feature active electronics. Advances such as a 6-bolt neck joint, contoured body, superior neck truss rod system, and rock-solid bridge keep the StingRay Slo Special bass in an exclusive collection of high-end basses.
