Sillhouette non trem

By Kim McKinney

from Lander,Wyoming

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Non-Tremolo Electric Guitar:

This is a great guitar that can cover alot of ground.I own many high dollar guitars but I play my silo the most.To be honest I bought it so I wouldn't have to haul around my high dollar guitars but it has impressed me so much that it has become my #1.I can get good strat-like clean tones and still rock the house with the distortion on.The neck is very comfortable and fast.I don't know how I missed this one all this time of playing.Do yourself a favor and play one if you get a chance to.

Great Guitar for the ages

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Non-Tremolo Electric Guitar:

This guitar had everything I was looking for, so I instantly fell in love with it.Now that I own it, its incredible, the thing is so easy to play that I have 12 gauge strings on it for a nice fat tone, and it still plays better then my RG and Strat!!!Beautiful finish, all-tho not the one shown in the picture which is what I thought at first.

A must have ......

By Rick Rivets

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Non-Tremolo Electric Guitar:

I saw a picture of Keith Richards using a white one so I figured if it's good enough for a man with every guitar there is why not check it out. I found a white one like Keiths at GC and picked it up. As soon as I had it in my hands I knew why Keith was using them. An almost perfect blend of Strat and LP. The meaty neck and 24 frets are a guitarists dream and the pickup selection is dead on. Plus the size and weight make this THE perfect R&R guitar. All my vintage Strats and LP's are in storage as this is all I need tp get all my tones. Once I save a bit more I would like to buy another in black non-trem of course as a spare but until then this is my baby and the size allows me to bring it onboard a plane with loads of space in the overhead. Don't get the Floyd trem model as the trem just sucks the tone out of the guitar. Their trem works fine and besides this is 2008 and diving went out last century. Keep Rocking.

Best

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Non-Tremolo Electric Guitar:

This guitar jams. It's lighter than a strat. Has the tone of both a strat and les paul. The neck is about the same as you would find on a peavey EVH wolfgang. This guitar is awesome.

Best Bang for the Buck !

By nakedman-BBexl

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Non-Tremolo Electric Guitar:

PROS: Very versatile guitar(HSH)...Many, many, many sound possibilities. Extremely fast and easy to play (unfinished neck), light weight, and small body. If you only have money for one high end guitar this is the guitar to buy. You won't regret it.CONS: Unfinished neck requires extra maintenance (Tru oil and Gunstock Wax), but worth it.

Gets my Vote

By Jeff-RyOTC

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Non-Tremolo Electric Guitar:

What can I say? It?s a HSH, fixed bridge with a 24-fret maple neck. I bought mine in either 95 or 96, can't remember which, it?s been my main guitar since that day. If an instrument could feel like an extension of the musician, this is as close as it's ever gotten for me. At the time I bought it, my band was playing 5 hour gigs each night, 3 to 4 nights a week, and my back felt like it was starting to feel like it resembled the ?Hunchback of Notre Dame? from the weight of my other guitars. With very little setup this instrument has been rock solid and never let me down. It's fast, light and fun to play. Did I say it was light? I would love to have another just like this one only with the Albert Lee pick-ups in it, but last I checked that is not an option. Regardless, this is the best musical purchase I?ve ever made. I?m one happy customer and this guitar is the instrument of choice for me.

The fastest, best sounding guitar I've ever played

By Joel Rapp

from Indianapolis, IN

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Non-Tremolo Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar two years ago and found it to be the perfect match. The neck is that fastest that I have ever played, and when combined with fresh strings - this is the best sounding guitar I've heard. With dual humbuckers and a single coil to boot, this is by far one of the best kept secrets.

Ain't Nothin' Better

By MagicDave

from Fredericksburg, Va.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Non-Tremolo Electric Guitar:

Music Man guitars in general are the best designed and best built solid body bolt neck guitars on the market PERIOD! I traded a top of the line American Standard Deluxe Telecaster even swap for a fixed bridge Silhouette. Never looked back and definitely no regrets. It took me a while to get used to the 24 fret neck because much of everyone's technique involves muscle memory I found myself playing a couple of frets off for a couple days. It's light has spectacular action and is extremely versitile. Did I say it was light? :-) The best neck joint of any bolt neck bar none. Great tone, great action, GREAT GUITAR! Buy one you won't be sorry. :-)

Ernie Ball all the way!!!

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Non-Tremolo Electric Guitar:

I have tried out some and they all have nice necks. They are small, in a good way and they are fast! Very nice pickups and it stayed in tune with the tremolo being used. The petrucci model is very nice and the piezos sound true. Steve lukather signature has a very unique sound as it has emg pickups. Overall, I like these and I hope to own one some day.
