Overview

The Music Man Albert Lee HH Hardtail Electric Guitar has a unique design that looks great and is incredibly comfortable to play. Like it's single-coil cousins, The Albert Lee HH rules at belting out Albert's raucous smooth rockabilly style with the added thick, rick, hotness of dual humbucking African mahogany body and a full 25-1/2" scale length. The guitar's rosewood neck has a hand-rubbed finish for increased comfort and is secured by a special sculpted 5-bolt joint that lets you effortlessly play all the way up the fingerboard. A hardened-steel string-through-bridge adds superior resonance and sustain. The Albert Lee guitar's reliable Schaller M6-IND locking tuners will never let you down.

Albert Lee, the greatest "hot country" guitarist of all time, is Winner of Guitar Player magazine's 'Best Country Guitarist' Award for 4 years in a row. Albert has recorded and toured with Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roseanne Cash, and more with a unique style featuring a bled of flat-picking and "hybrid"-picking techniques, banjo-style picking, double-stop runs, and mimicking a pedal-steel guitar.

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee HH Hardtail Electric Guitar:

A very versatile guitar that's thick, rich, and hot enough to drive a good amplifier but laid back enough to let the sound of the guitar come through.

It's classy looking with a vintage tint but modern playability. It's very light and the neck is incredibly comfortable.

No complaints. I gigged with it the day I received it and it didn't let me down. The setup from Music Man was excellent.

Albert Lee HH Hardtail Electric Guitar

      By Michael Conover

      from Midwest

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee HH Hardtail Electric Guitar:

Overall, a very good guitar, I will use primarily where space is tight due to the short length...I sit on a stool in a tight space playing my Friday night standing gig....

I am satifsied with the product and servce, although I had to return the first one...
I like the HH pickup configuration....the middle pickup on the regular SSS model gets in my way. The wiring allows single coil pairs both series and parellel......

Full Fender scale with a short overall length due to bridge set way back in the body and the shorter peghead.

Great Full Rosewood neck...feels and looks great!!

I got Tobaccoburst with a white guard.
This one is fine....I returned a Coral Red one for a lousy neck fit...you could drive a truck through gaps in the neck pocket and it had the typical finish crack at the 90 degree angle at the body / neck junction.........too much pressure from the backing plate....this one is fine
      Great value....

      Retro looks with modern appeal

      By carlos B

      from NYC

Comments about Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee HH Hardtail Electric Guitar:

When I first saw this guitar I thought, "It looks weird, in a cool retro kinda way". Then I pulled it off the wall, plugged it into an Orange Tiny Terror and bam! The sound is awesome. Fantastic tonal range and built. It feels incredibly comfortable too. I own a Fender Strat deluxe and an Epi Les Paul. And even though it's a little small bodied compared to those guitars, it feels really comfortable standing up and sitting. What can I say, Mr.Lee knows how to design a great guitar.
