  The little Marshall Amp packs a lot of punch for how small it is and has two channels with stereo speakers! It may not hold up playing against a kit or bass or guitar with a full amp, but playing alone in a park or on the street it holds up great on it's own. You can clearly hear your instrument and MP3 at the same time when playing together. Even through the headphones I can clearly hear both. I could definitely tell when the batteries were low, or shoddy, because the volume suffered. Like most battery operated equipment using cheap batteries does not do the equipment justice. Can't wait to find an adapter so I don't have to use the batteries when I'm at home. There is lot's of comfy padding in the bag. There's a velcro strip on a pad block to lock your neck in. It has a padded shoulder strap and padded backpack style straps. It's pretty easy to change from one style to the other. There are plenty of pocket spaces of varying sizes and convenient little ones to hold your MP3 player while in use. There is no mention here of how the bag becomes it's own stand. When you take the guitar out it can fold over and become it's own stand. It has clips that connect from the top of the bag to the bottom so it stands on its own. It's even angled upward to hear it more easily. For the price I don't think you can beat this.

  This product is worth every penny and more that you'll spend on it. The bag itself is very well made the straps aren't what you would expect from a cloth gig bag, usually you get those basic straps that cut into your shoulders, but these padded straps make it seem as though you're wearing a backpack or something pretty comfortable. the pocket space is pretty big for its size, each pocket has plenty of space for cable, tuner, capo, even lesson books and a spot for pens/pencils. the quality of the amp is simply amazing i didn't expect it to be much for its size but wow, i am impressed, the tone is amazing and the fact that is has gain AND 2 channels, ontop of that, you can plug in headphone and your ipod/mp3 player! the bag is well cushion totally trust it to keep my guitars safe and the hold down for the neck is an added bonus. The case folds into a stand to support itself when you're using the amp, just one more functionality that makes this product shine. All in all, this product is just fantastic, marshall did a great job when they build these little amps and props to earnie ball for the very nice quality bag to go along with it. This bag is worth way more than they're charging for it so get it while its priced how it is. I'll definitely be getting a few more for myself and a few for gifts for christmas/birthdays.

• Combine two good products to make a bad one

  Alright, let me start by saying an amp and a case should never be combined. The amp is pretty bad sounding to be honest, which should be expected as it has 3 knobs on top. But I didn't expect great quality sound, just something okay enough to get at a small band practice. Forget the "true Marshall tone" advertised in the description, you're getting the tone of a low quality starter kit guitar. Except some starter kit amps aren't even as bad as this one, so that last sentence is only partially correct. Moving on to how it is during playing, you will run into some unexpected problems. First of all, where do you put the thing?! At practice I usually toss my soft case into a corner or fold it up and put it away and then set up my amp. What do you do with this? It doesn't stand on its own. Sure, you could lean it against a wall, but really, why risk it? It would probably fall and break, or at least turn off and maybe ruin your cable. I used it once before selling it, but when I used it, we had to lay it down on the floor. It takes up a lot of space and its awkward to have the cable plugged into a sideways amp. But what about the case? Well I'd have to say its not that bad of a budget case. Its padded so if you drop it from a low height it probably won't have much damage done to the guitar or case. Still, for $99 you can get a much better Roadrunner hard case. Ignoring that, there are a few small problems with the case. Well first off the giant Ernie Ball logo on the pouch at the bottom looks very stupid, but that's ignorable. The main problem with the case is that you always have to be careful with it so the amp isn't being damaged. You need to be careful how you set it down, where you keep it, etc. Overall, the product is just bad. The only benefit is that you can carry your guitar and amp in with one hand. That is it. Not worth it at all.
