i was at band practice one day. and while tuning my guitar...my high e string broke. depressed and aggrivated i went to guitar center to get new strings. when i got there, instead of just pointing out the ernie ball power slinkys to the employee, a shiny wrapping caught my attention (this is not a dramatization). ive never seen these strings before. i asked the employee about them and he said they were titanium coated and would extend the life and sound of the strings. i was a littly sketchy on shedding out an extra 5 bucks to get these strings...but let me tell you. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, and these strings are worth EVERY penny! these strings sound so bright and crisp, words cant even describe how good they sounded and how happy i am with these strings. i can tell you right now that no matter how expensive these strings get, i will pay for it. i will never use any other brand or style of strings. these strings are absolutly amazing in quality, durability, and sound. BUY THESE STRINGS
These strings are BRUTAL! They'll hold their own in virtually any tuning, from Standard to even A, without sounding muddy and loose. It's a little rough on the fingers to begin with, but I was able to quickly adapt. Being that they bare the coveted "Ernie Ball" label, you know you're getting a quality product. As long as I continue to play, I will use Ernie Ball strings!
