  • Pretty nice flats...

As reviewed by Djflats on 12/8/2008

The 2806's are some pretty nice strings. I use flats most of the time because they cut back on finger noise, I like the smooth feel. I have them on a Geddy Jazz and a Precision bass. The lows "thump" good and the mids and highs are good. Overall I'd recommend these strings although I think I may go back to the 2804's next time. The 04's have a little more tension which I like. If you like flats or may be thinking of trying some flats get some 06's...you may just like them.

  • nice Fat sound easy on the fingers

As reviewed by Brett D on 1/21/2009

I am a rookie, and didn't know what to buy, asked a couple friends and players, I like the fat tube sound, (that why I have an Orange Amp) played the strings a few times now and love the fat sound and the smooth feel as well... so far they have stayed in tune pretty well...
