Excellent strings

These strings can take a real beating in every tuning i've thrown at them. I had strated with regular slinkys and my friend gave me these. I slapped them on and couldn't believe how well the thick strings held drop tuning so well. It even held drop A like it was nothing. Very nice but if you don't like thick strings then don't get them. If you're into heavy drop tuning get these they're the best!

Some of the Best Strings Out There

I love very thing about these strings except for the plain 3rd string. I tune these down to B-standard and they play beautifully on my BC Rich Warlock. Over all one of my favorite sets of strings!

Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky

These strings have got to be the best strings ever for heavy metal. I tune these to Drop B tuning (low to high B-F#-B-E-G#-C#), and they hold perfect tension. They last a super long time (like more than two months for me), and they retain their tone for the entire time. I use Ernie Ball strings for all of my guitars (these on my Schecter, Super Slinky on my Strat, and Earthwood Lights on my Acoustic), and I probably always will.

Excellent strings for all styles of music!

These are my favorite strings to put on my strat. They give very beefy tone and are excellent for detuned playing. They last very long and i have never had one break. Great for Stevie Ray Vaughan style stuff or really any blues, rock, country, metal or anything else you could think of. I have even used them on my acoustic!!

Ernie Ball: Beefy Slinky

Well if your into great tone, choose ernie ball strings. I wouldn't recommend this size to guitarist who love bend, vibrato, etc. because it's harder to do it on this size. Try Ernie Ball: Super Slinky. Some of the greatest guitarists in the world use Ernie Ball strings, I recommend them.
