I would strongly recommend the Ernie Ball 2245 Stainless Steel Power slinky Strings because of there great ability to stand up to some harsh solos and headbanging beats. I love the way they add a sense of smoothness when playing up and down these slender strings. I would also recommend these strings because they come from the a truly respectable brand. I have had no problems with these magnificent strings and hope you pick such a respected style of strings.
Best guitar strings ive used. ive used all sorts of ernie ball strings and the stainless steel are the best. there great for players who play fast and hard. they have a smooh feel and they feel right i use the strings on my acoustic and my electric.
Okay, so I pulled the strings out of their paper sleeves as usual... but as soon as i felt the wound strings they felt kinda weird... I put them all on the guitar like normal and played for a while. they sounded dull and didnt seem smooth on the wound strings like the other reviews say they are (which is why i got them) Ya know that weird feeling stuff you get on your body from "fake" aka stainless steel jewelry? well i got that on the tips on my fingers now... I love almost ever other slinky but not these..
