I keep coming back to these string... I've tried various other brands, DR, Dunlop, Dean Markley, etc., but I keep coming back to these. I've been using them for about 3 years now and have yet to break a single string. That's the main issue I have with every other string that I've tried. Within 1 to 2 weeks of re-stringing, with every other brand I've tried, I end up breaking at least one string and sometimes multiples. Sound is good and the tone lasts as long as any other that I've tried.
I've used different brand strings at different gauges, all with the same result. The first string would always break, or they didn't sound good. So I decided to try these and I couldn't be happier, not only do they sound great, but they feel great, and more importantly they have not broken. I"m now a Ernie Ball user for life. No matter what your style, what guitar you use. These strings are a must have.
The name of the strings say everything. Are excellent for acoustic or electric, it just the most versatile strings on the earth!
