These strings sound amazing. On a dreadnought they have a warm tone that's good for strumming. On a Martin 000-28 they have a rich crisp tone. The bass strings growl, treble strings sing.I will always use these and coated slinkys on my acoustics. If you don't use Ernie Balls you have no idea whaat you're missing.
I decided to try these strings and I am glad I did!
They have their own sound. It is unlike any other string I tried before. It took a couple days to get used to. Now, I love it! I knew Ernie Ball for great electric strings so I figured these must be good too and they are. I am using them on an Epiphone Masterbilt DR500RNS. Try them and see how they have their own unique tone. They sound different than D'addario, Martin and Dean Markely Strings.
Good strings, currently on my dreadnaught. I like them enough not to change them and its been about a month. I usually dont keep strings on longer than a month because of the tone loss and corrosion but these strings don't show signs of either. They're inexpensive and pretty cheap compared to higher-end non coated. Sound is great on them and they bend and slide great, low string noise. Good strings.
