Solid

The tone is solid. I just replaced my nano Elixir strings with these. The Elixirs sounded great, but the Earthwood make my guitar sound better. If I have to change them out more often than the Elixirs that would be fine since the cost is extremely reasonable for the sound that I'm getting.

Favorite Acoustic Strings

I have been playing guitar for 4 years now and have been using these strings for 3. They sound awesome whatever genre you play and guitar you play. These strings sound clear, bright, and bring out that woody tone in my guitar, they last long provide great volume and great bends, I use these on my acoustic and electric acoustic and trust me people at shows tell me my guitar sounds awesome and clean. I got all my friends hooked on em and once you try them so will you. Not just do they sound amazing 5 particularly think they smell good when you open em HAHA!

absolutely great

i slapped these guys on my taylor about an hour before an acoustic set, they held perfect tune, increased the volume of the guitar, and even boosted the bass on the guitar, which is hard to find strings that do that for taylors. they replaced martin sps which replaced elixers due to price

Good, expecting it to get better...

Let me start out by saying, Seagull furnishes their guitars with REALLY crappy strings out of the box. I got in my Seagull Entourage yesterday, ordered online, took it out of the box...ahh it was so pretty. Great tone too. But there was just something off about the sound - strings. So I came online and bought these. Slapped em on, let me tell you, it makes my guitar sound SO much fuller. I feel like I'm playing a twelve string, literally, it just sounds so big. Only complaint is that right now they sound a bit...bright. A little Takamine-ish. I'm hoping they mellow a bit with a little bit of playing. All in all, good strings. Next time I buy, I'll probably try some different ones just for the heck of it. But these are a good safe buy. Especially if you like a more bright, Takamine type sound.
