Overview

The Epiphone Limited Edition Riviera Custom Royale P93 Electric Guitar features that warm, clear vintage tone makes it a perfect instrument for jazz, blues, or country. A double-cutaway, semi-hollow body gives this guitar the style and playability that guitarists of all genres of music appreciate. Three P-90 dog-ear single-coil pickups produce the raw powerful tone that helped define the blues and rock and roll in their formative years. Today, the P90's traditional combination of high output and brilliant tone is still considered a favorite among many top musicians. A Bigsby vibrato tailpiece delivers the twang that has been a favorite for decades. A pearl white finish and gold hardware add a touch of class to the classic semi-hollow design.

incredible sound and beautiful guitar

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Riviera Custom Royale P93 Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar a couple weeks ago, and I've constantly amazed anyone who sees/hears it. I'm not the best guitarist, but I know what sounds good, and this guitar has inspired me to work so I can become better and do it justice. My friend has an epiphone as well, but his was broken for a show he had to play, so I reluctantly let him play my baby. He almost didn't give it back! The whole night, everyone kept asking who's guitar it was, and complimenting the sound and the looks of it. It IS very flashy, but it doesn't look corny or glittery or Daisy Rock-ish. All in all, this is one classy guitar.

Epiphone Knows a Winner

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Riviera Custom Royale P93 Electric Guitar:

People EP has now come out with the riviera royale in a pearl white in limited edition. I purchase the previous edition in "Cherry" and was exceedingly pleased with the guiter. It has the same ware features as the cherry model. If the only thing EP did was change the paint scheme it is worth every penny you'll spend for it. PRO's: excellent sound quality. The P90 PU's definitely bring back the old school sounds of the late 50's and early 60's. Action is good anywhere on the neck. Stays in tune even with the bigsby tremelo bridge. The PU's are pretty hot and you can go from clean to gutsy by changing your picking technique. CON's: from the factory it needed the frets filed down to get rid of the fret rattle. I did not like the string that came with the guitar from the factory. Volume and tuner knobs are not exactly linear but you can live them once you get used to using the product. The price is $50 higher with this newer edition but worth it. Would I consider purchasing another riviera as a 2nd guitar? ABSOLUTELY !!!
